Practical and Straight Forward ... This is the Real Deal!
What I love about Jenny's new book, Yen Path, is that it that it gets right to the meat of it all. I have been, or would like to consider myself, a student of Yoga and other eastern life studies for the past few years. I attend classes, workshops and read as much as I am able. As a matter of fact, Jenny's workshops have been a part of my studies! What Jenny's book has done is take the things I have been studying (and much, much more) and boil them down to their most fundamental truth. The Jenny very skillfully brings these teachings to life in a way that is so practical, so doable for my everyday, hectic life. If you want more from your life but feel overwhelmed and don't know where to start, or perhaps just don't think you have time, THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ! It reminds me of the saying - don't reinvent the wheel. Jenny has done the homework, she knows her stuff and can show you how to apply it to your life. Refreshing
Jenny Gallagher's book clarifies a number of ways to integrate body and mind in staying well. Learning about holistic approaches like yoga, ayurveda, life coaching are refreshing. Jenny's book delivers enlightenment into the ancient methods of wellness, as well as, keeping a focus on what is right in life, instead of dwelling on fears associated with what is wrong. This is an energetic and hopeful look at making conscious choices that lead to positve changes.The chapter "Strength" was my favorite. She said,"A person who makes a conscious decision to do something, rain or shine, happy or sad, learns how to overcome excuses that can hold them back from advancement." Excellent and so true!
